TONSU BUFFET
Traditional Japanese kitchen tonsu served as the inspiration for this piece. Roll-out trays are featured in the lower cabinet interior with drawers and adjustable shelving throughout. Handmade escutcheon plates frame hand-forged Japanese hardware. Wenge, pommelle sappele, and Honduras mahogany were used in the fabrication. The Buffet surface is slate framed in wenge, illuminated by low voltage halogen lamps.
